[He's surprised, but also touched. Not only is new Prowl kinder than the Prowl he knows, but he's also kinder than most Autobots. The best thing he expects from most of his comrades in arms is mutual respect and keeping out of each other's way.]
It was really no trouble at all, Grimlock. I try not to disregard my promises.
[ Prowl would consider it him indulging in his own obsessions more than kindness. He would have started scouring around for different genres of music regardless, after all, and he was basically wired for rapidly crunching through information.
He sends the music files over to the other Autobot’s comm, to be played at his leisure. ]
I rather enjoyed the rhythmic complexities, despite the aggressive noise.
[He takes a quick listen of the music and nods in approval. As opposed to Prowl, his focus is on the repetitive guitar riffs, and the volume itself, the way that the sounds in his audial receptors can send tremors through the rest of his body.]
Me like it! It like Dinobot singing!
[He bounces up and down in his seat, his energon sloshing around in its container as he moves.]
Well, I’m glad to see you can appreciate such things.
[ Sipping very gingerly from his own energon glass. ]
I don’t really do the whole dancing thing… I just like to listen.
[ Analyzing the music was a nice little cerebral exercise for him. Mentally documenting the audio frequencies, the tempo, the layered and uneven 4-beat and 21-beat motifs interacting with each other…
It was almost like a cipher to decode for him, another matrix of data for his brain to drink in. Dancing was way more chaotic. ]
